At the time of my next site update (probably this weekend) I will be taking down the 1957 Chevy and any addons I have made for it. From here on only cars and objects I have 100% created myself will be on my site. If you want it get it now. This is what I am working on as a possible Free car replacement. A late 60's Mini Cooper. Any objections? ;) For those that asked, the DB5 will be available on the 7th of November at DAZ. Just in time for the the Next James Bond movie.

Since the ol'beauty is going bye-bye, it's time to say thanks. I'm sure I speak for many in thanking you for the '57 Chevy. It's a fantastic model of high quality and great connotations. I really appreciate that you made it free for so long. Your work is great, and I look forward to future releases. Oh, and '65 Barracudas do rule. ;-)

There are actually quite a few running around here in Northern California. Someone at work has a black one and I pass by a white one every day heading the other way when I go to work in the mornings. by the way, things are a little slow here today at work so I am playing with the Mini. Notice any changes from a little while ago?

In 1967 I raced a "twin-mini flying suitcase" at Riverside. A mini with engines mounted in both ends. It was a beast.

Timeless...as demonstrated by the fact that I see more of the new Mini Coopers almost every day on my 20 minute walk to work.

Actually, I'm on another project which might make use of that new car you have there. Can't say much about it right now cuz its way bigger than a simple logo, but I think it fits to a T what we're doing. If I land this, its a major deal and I may have to quit my dayjob, which many of you know is quite substantial. Time will tell.

Last time I saw a running original-type Mini on the roads was about 1987. I'd guess all of the ones up here where it snows died from rusted out floors, I know mine did! A lot of them are still being raced, I gather, though, it is one fast little car. Make sure you do a "factory" mini-cooper paint scheme, BRG with the two white stripes allong th esides of the hood (or bonnet!) One thing I always wondered, how did you shift gears on a twini-mini?

With enclosed cable that let you push and pull and slave cylinders for the clutches. The worst thing was trying to get the carbs to feed both engines properly.

Yeah, if it still had SUs they would have trouble feeding one engine properly! Mini's were a lot of fun, but SU carbs and Lucas "Lucas, the Lord of Darkness" electrics were something else!
