Subject: Plop Render Question

ICMgraphics ( ) posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 5:26 AM · edited Thu, 06 February 2025 at 2:33 PM

I've got a question about plop renders. I've had no trouble with screen size plop renders, but when I set the render settings for a X2 or X3 size of the typical screen size I cannot get to certain points in the pic to plop render. Is there a way to scroll to other parts of the pic in the rendered view to drag a plop frame around the target area?

there are two little magnifying glasses at the bottom right of the screen. you can use them to zoom in and out without actually changing the size of the render ouput. That way if your render doesn't fit on screen you can zoom out and still select and (re)render that little part that used to be 'outside the screen'. You use the one with the + on it to zoom in and the one with the - on it to zoom out. (obviously)

Cool Thanks

If your render is larger than your work area, you can hold down the spacebar while dragging to pan the image.

... then you can plop render at the resolution you originally rendered rather than zooming in and out.

I would absolutely loveee a table listing all the Bryce keystroke shortcuts (as well as undocumented shortcuts too). The Bryce manual is a bit lacking in that area.

The 3-page foldout reference card that comes WITH the Bryce manual has all the keyboard shortcuts, etc. listed - dozens & dozens of 'em.

3-page foldout? My gosh! I've been ripped off!

I received the "program" disc and the "content" disc and the manual, but no 3-page fold out of short cuts...

I scanned the manual so that I won't get flamed as a warez guy; geez I hate those guys....

FWTempest ( ) posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 8:31 PM

hhhmmm... mine came with quick reference card... but that was B4 from metacreations, not corel.

Nukeboy ( ) posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 8:35 PM

Mine's from Corel, cheap SOB's...

BlueArdor ( ) posted Wed, 23 October 2002 at 8:38 PM

lol Nukeboy... I got no reference card either. I nice foldout came with Poser though.

Rayraz ( ) posted Thu, 24 October 2002 at 12:24 AM

My Bryce 5 upgrade didn't come with a keyboard-shortcut reference card or fold out as far as I know.

I saw this on another thread... Peggy Walters has a list on her site, in pdf format, (Must have Adobe Acrobat to use). Here is her link: http://www.geocities.com/peggywalters/index.html hope this helps.
