Installed without problem and fixed a lot of issues :) I use Roxanne a lot and whenever I tried to use some of her body poses (Dwarf to be exact) She would get deformed, but now she works great, and so far no errors popping up :) Here is a quick render of roxanne in P5 now. I used the free lite version freebie from dangerkitty for roxanne, so big thank you to her, and also beastmasters and blunt hair from daz, and of course Roxanne by caspses

Very cool....this looks great. I just downloaded the patch but I haven't had a chance to do anything except make sure nothing crashed when I opened it. Encouraging news indeed. Thank you!!!

Best thing is no more resetting the transparency falloff to zero! lol I hated doing that!

Pokeydots,
Does that mean MAT poses will work now? I think the transparency falloff was the only thing P5 didn't get about them.

Bill, so far they are working, I've only tried a few,but it seems to work fine now :)

Excellent! I've never had big problems with P5, and they seem to be knocking off the little ones one by one.

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 26 October 2002 at 1:23 AM

Yes, the Transparency Falloff settings now load fine with old characters and MAT poses. No more Tidy-Bowl MAT experiments for this dragon! They fixed the Library refresh bug also, when exiting the Material Room.

Hey Pokeydots, I downloaded that patch last week, is it the same one or a new one? Sharen

Little_Dragon ( ) posted Sat, 26 October 2002 at 5:15 AM

Great pic, Sallie. Now she just needs something to drag behind her. ;) Beth

Beth, maybe she should be dragging Boris! I never thought of that! Thanks Beth and Q :)

Gabrielle looks nice. Is Xena around there somewhere? I presume this is how Gabi looks through Joxar's eyes.

pdxjims ( ) posted Sat, 26 October 2002 at 11:05 PM

So far so good. Render time is a LOT faster, so is switching from area to area. There was a 2 to 5 second pause every once in a while when switching from one library to another. Now it moves like I want it to.

Dale B ( ) posted Mon, 28 October 2002 at 12:26 AM

Same here! Rendertime looks to be maybe 20%-30% faster, the MAT files seem to work properly now, and just a general improvement. About the only thing I have to complain about is that the rotation of the cameras around the models is a still a bit jerky, but even that has gotten better.
