This is our freebie for the week, it really isn't much and we are sorry, texture map included. Again we are sorry, we had a real sorrow fall on us yesterday, a close family memember passed away suddenly and we are still in shock. But I do hope you can use this somewhere. Mike and Sharen

my sincere condolences to you both.

Dizzie ( ) posted Sun, 27 October 2002 at 7:40 AM

Don't you two dare apologize...you shouldn't even be thinking about a freebie at a time like this! And again don't say the basket isn't much...it'll be perfect to put all my pumpkins in for my Halloween scene...in fact, it's the best bushel basket around...thanks!!

zorares ( ) posted Sun, 27 October 2002 at 7:47 AM

I agree with Dizzie! You shouldn't be worried about freebies right now! All the best to you!

Thank you all for your kind words, you have no idea how much this does help. Yesterday I was walking around like a zombie and kept telling Mike we need to get the freebie ready, and although I know you all would understand, we just didn't want to let you down. When we started the model, we were just sitting there, then we thought of our little angel and came up with this basket. He loved baskets and apples, I don't know why, but he did, that is why we created this, for him. Thank you again for your open hearts, it touches us so. Mike and Sharen

Sharen, So sorry to hear about your loss. I know what you are going through because my father passed away suddenly last month. Me, my mom, and sister are still in shock over it. They are actually taking it better than I am. My sincerest sympothy goes out to you. Cherokee

Hey you guys, why do think you have to apologise. For heavens sake, family comes before anything else. Sharen, Mike and Andy you helped me through my greatest loss, when my Mum went, and boy did I appreciate that support, and now I hope I can give you some support through your loss. I am not a christian, as I know you are, but please believe me, when I say "Goddess Bless" it means as much. You kept me going, so now please give yourselves some time without worrying about something like a weekly free model. Me I will fill it with Roses and offer it as a tribute. Pam

Thank you. An old-fashioned split-wood bushel basket is hard to come by in both real and virtual space---and yours has a nice weathered look to the texture, too. Along with chohole, I wish you blessings and peace in Her arms. The veil between the worlds thins now, in late October, and those little angels we've lost are all around us, if we could only see with clearer eyes. Patricia

I'm so sorry for your loss. When you mentioned about your little angel and how he loved baskets and apples, and you made this freebie basket in his memory, I almost burst into tears. I wish you the best during this hard time and send my condolences. And there's no need for apologies. That's nice basket. Reminds me of the old wooden baskets I'd see on my great aunt's farm (when she used to make us pick apples).

Sharen and Mike, Give yourselves a hug, a cup of tea, a quiet moment.... In times of stress and grief and loss doing ordinary things (brushing teeth, taking out the trash) can help to re-establish the patterns of life. However, don't add to the stress by thinking that you must rush to complete a model despite whatever happens in life. We understand. Real life happens. You are lovely people and we care about you guys, so take some time and take care of your own needs. {hug} Carolly

SAMS3D ( ) posted Tue, 29 October 2002 at 4:17 AM

Carolly, David, Whbos, thank you for your thoughts, today seems a little better. Going to the computer and reading what you all are writing is such a blessing to us. Makes us smile and our heart is really just so touched by the kindness that is here. Thank you Mike and Sharen
