Subject: Poser 5 and texture files

Now I'm going nuts. You use to be able to click Object>Material and load textures and transparences. Now clicking Material takes you to the Material room. I see where to load textures and bump maps but not transparences. Please, sombody, help! Is this something so obvoious that I'm going to feel really stupid when someone tells me how? Hope so!

Click the little plug icon next to the word transparency. Another window will pop up so you can find and apply the texture. Once you do that. Go back and adjust the strength of it as needed. ScottA

Thanks so much! I guess a little more reading of the manual is in order. But who would have thought that it would be so obscure. At least I think it is...I never would have figured it out.

Yeah. It's much different. But much more powerful than the old way. I'm still trying to get used to it myself. ScottA
