I hope this doesn't look like spamming the forums...I've only put this here and in 2D, as I know I'll get some honest feedback in these forums! Also no-one knows me in any of the others! Besides trying to do an essay etc. (or maybe *instead* of trying to do an essay) I have updated my website, like a few other members have done with their sites lately...I have included html and flash enabled versions. Please tell me what works and doesn't for you people as I'm trying to make things look a bit more "professional" (why I don't know...perhaps in the hope one day I may attract offers for freelance work) Apologies for the load time of the Flash "image cylinders" ~ if you check out the flash-enabled galleries you'll see what I mean. I'm still trying to work out how to do a pre-loader in flash that actually works! TYIA :-)>

On my lunch now Cameron but I will take your site for spin and let you know. :O)

Wow that is a very cool idea love the revolving effect, I found a couple of things on my browser though its a tad sensitive on the spinning, and the images are a bit too small if you use right click to zoom not all of the image shows up. If you were looking to attract interest for freelance work I would think that maximum quality was the order of the day. I only tried the flash enabled part, which loads fast enough on my Boadband connection so dunno if that helps. Cheers very creative Punkie so yer deserve to succeed.

Looks great Cam....for some reason when I click on the flashed images in the gallery they don't open....like they will on the html version. Anyway...cool interview too!

Like the new site Cameron, as you said the spinning galleries take a little while to load (prob my 56k modem and the high winds in the UK) A nice way to show your work, one comment the zoomed up image might be better bigger or the carousel could have a zoom thingie for a bigger view. Some nice links love the abandoned places will be going back there for a visit. :O)

Hmmm....I have a cable internet connection...it should be loading fast, but it's not working at all on my side...I'm going to have to try again.

Thanks for the feedback people...sorry the flash thingy doesn't work for you Michelle...I'm not sure why that would be. I forgot to say if you click on the images in the carousel they get a bit bigger, click them again and they get smaller again. I probably should say that on the page somewhere. I agree with danob about looking for maximum quality regarding the images, but I was trying to balance load time with image quality...otherwise things would take way too long to load over modem connections! Thanks again folks, and thank you to Jovan and Jeff for signing my guestbook! :-)>

I've just worked out what Michelle meant...Unfortunately I haven't been clever enough to code each individual image in the carousel galleries to go to a separate page with a larger image version yet, (but I will...eventually) They just spin around and get a tiny bit bigger when you click on them! ;-)>

Ahhh....see I knew I was confused....I thought they were supposed to link to a seperate page...DOH! So it is working just not the way I thought it was supposed too! LOL!

It loaded under 1 min on my 56k modem and a I agree that the images should load on a separate page, good web page all in all

Eggiwegs! I would like... to smash them!

Neat! I did not downmoad Flash 6, so it used whatever version I have. Seemed to work, but not obvious how it works. Part of the fun is playing with it. But do need to see larger images.
