Hi, I am looking for 1940's and 50's clothing / props. I have got the trench coat and various little bits but I am now looking for a Trilby hat (sp?) and period revolver and shotgun. There seems to be lots for the Medieval and current times but not so much for that period. Tried 3dcafe and most of the poser sites I can find (inc here and the Props Guild). Any ideas / Sites I may have missed ?

Just got a couple of thoughts around picture that I don't see much off. I am much more interested in the clothing aspect but would like an old double barrelled shotgun (all wood and metal). I think I have found a revolver I can use but I am still looking for any clothing from that period that is not military. Think detective, think dark corridors, think something in the shadows, think shotgun for security, "can you guess what it is yet ??". Thanks Si

I am working on costumes and characters from the first half of the 20th century, and hope to get to the 1940's and 1950's eventually, but am still in the 1910-1930 period. I wish Zygote or someone with faster skills than I in this area would take up making clothing and body types of the last century, or pitch in to form a 20'th century team of us who create things for retro characters.

Bast, I am also interest in that period. I like the idea of creating an early 20th century team. I shall e-mail you to talk about this further. Wyrmulf, Got the shotgun and the fantastic pocket watch. I have one just like it at home. I just have to think of a scene where I can utilise this excellent item. Still on the lookout for a trilby etc (have the bowler hat). Maybe the scenes will have to have a more English flavor till I can build one. Cheers Si
