Hi I have been waiting for some to post that you can use the cloth room to do this. But no one has so here goes. Please exscuse the spelling I'm dislexic and realy can not spell as im sure is painfully obvious. any way. here goes. say you want to put my Vogue dress for Judy on Vickie. here is how you do it in P5 and make it fit :) load Vickie pose her to the netral p5 judy pose. set your morphs as wanted. load the clothing you want to make fit one piece at a time. :Note if it is a conforming piece of clothing tweek the scale seting and morph settings of the clothing to fit as close as posable. After this is done export the clothing only to a OJB weld seams and as morph no world inputs. deleat the conforming piece from your scean and import your saved ojb. centerd off for my Vogue dress scale of object bout 54%. scale to fit as it did befor exporting. ok now we are ready to continue. go to cloth room and clothafy the item. set off set to 0.0100 and depth to 1.500. draping fraims 20 to 30. sym rfaims start 1 endt 1. run your sym no wind. this will push out the cloth in the areas that dont fit. once you run the sym. ok export your cloth again as an ojb. deleat present one from sceen, along with the symulation. reimport the ojb 2nd addition. click make new sym and clothify after scale tweeking to fit. now for the time consuming part. you will see ares that are streched funny like she has 4 niples and so on. go to edit dynamic group. select and repove the points of the unwanted streches. set your seld in fraim 2 and move your figure with cloth parented to its hip in the X Y or Z directions slightly just enought to flaten the strech this will take a bit of playing and fideling to get it to look right but for thows with out a modeler and the knoledge to use it it is the only way to spot morph your mesh in areas that realy need to be modified. for areas that only need parttial shaping changes. you can remove all the points in the cloth except the part you want to change. set fold and strech to low numbers and run the drape again this will reshape say the bust or hip fanny areas and remove the unwanted streches. repeat above steps as requiered and export each step to save. after it fits as wanted its ready to add to your libriary for future use as a properly fitting garmint for your faviorite model . Smile have fun hope this helps Laters Vel

Anything would have to be a help as I am completely baffled by both the hair and cloth rooms. I am going to have try to test run this. Thank you for posting. I don't think we can have enough tutorials on Poser 5!!

Yes, thank you, very helpful. Also, over at PoserFashions, he has a new tutorial for fitting clothes. In fact, he has several tutorials and two nice dresses for Judy. This week, he shows how to fit a dress to Stephanie that will work in the cloth room. Bill
