First of all many thinks for your participation and the great artwork:-). The difficult choice leaded to this result:

image # 11 = Sacred Rose = 10 votes
image # 01 = bernieloehn = 7 votes
image # 07 = deadhead = 3 votes
image # 08 = sittingblue = 2 votes
image # 04 = rds = 1 vote
image # 04 = LrdSatyr8 = 1 vote

I hope my count is correct.

Congratulations to all and especially to Beck (Sacred Rose) for this great forest picture.

We are all very exited now to hear what will be the theme you choose for November. Please inform us within 24 hours (or so..., I know you are in Australia, take time to sleep and to wake up:-)).

You can now see who's who at the link above.

:-)Guitta

Thanks everyone!! The challenge was amazing, it brought out the best in all of the competitors. next months challenge: Create an atmosphere that will give a sense of extreme weather on the viewer. In other words..no stock standard atmospheres are to be used, the sky you create will automatically make the viewer feel extreme cold, or extreme heat, like a firey red sunset or a lazy hazy day, etc etc. Hope this suits all. Have a great one, and thanks again to all that entered, to cermit for picking out the last challenge and to guitta for all of her effort in maintaining the challenege itself. ~beck

bernieloehn ( ) posted Wed, 30 October 2002 at 4:34 AM

Hey Sacred Rose, Congratulations - I would have also voted for your great picture but I missed the voting this time because I'm on vacation for 14 days in my old university town Heidelberg/Germany. So I send many greeting from an internet cafthis way to all of you!! The new challenge is superb again - and I already could collect alot of new impressions from the sky over Heidelberg! BTW: What do you think of making a sampler of all the upcoming great new atmospheres - should become only a small file even with 20 or more entries!? ;-) Bernie

Keep cool and fight for the right of others
to have a different opinion than you have!

;- ) Bernie
