Subject: P5 install question

I have P4 and am thinking about getting P5. I know that P5 installs to a separate folder. I want to be able to use both P4 and P5 whenever I need, but I don't want to have to install figures, etc... twice, nor do I want to have to copy the runtime folder twice. its already taking up too much space and I wouldn't want to double it. Is there a way for P5 to "see and use" the P4 runtime folders? This way as I install stuff in P4, P5 can use it and still use the P5 specific stuff like Judy.....

Yes, that's what I do. I install new stuff into my P4 runtime and access it all from P5.

martindj, okay, how?

Does P5 also recognize P4's lighting environments? Meaning, I own the UD lighting set, and I would hate to see that it doesn't work in P5.

jbtrimar, so far all the lightsets I have tried have worked fine in P5

Attached Link: Linking your P4 Runtime to P5

You'll need to link your P4 Runtime to P5. The tutorial link above will show you how. -darlisa
