My gosh, Michelle, this is truly sharp and beautiful, but...I've seen your photos before and, well, are you sure it's the scanner that's making them this great or just your superb talent? :>) Out of curiosity, what type of scanner...I am in the market for a new one myself, seems the old one, at times, produces "soft" at times, "sharp" at others...all on the same photo. :( Been thinking about the Epson 2400.
Thanks guys! I decided to go with the Canon Canoscan FS4000US....I wanted the Nikon 4000ED, but I could not justify the cost difference...the specs on both are pretty comparable....

My flatbed is awful I was never able to get the transparency adaptor to work at all...and I get this awful magenta line right across the middle of my images...that is why I had to buy a film scanner.
