Subject: A call to fellow animators using Poser 5 to defend the graph editor..

I've found that the individual graphs don't refresh when clicking either another body part or another parameter. Anyone else found this? (I'm using the latest patch). I've posted this to the public beta forum a couple of times but it's such an obscure part of Poser most haven't heard of it, let alone know how it should work so, no replies. It's such an important feature it'd be a shame to lose it just because we few didn't squeek up at the right time... (well, assuming I'm not the only one who's found it doesn't work)

I honestly haven't noticed this ... but then again I haven't been using Poser 5 a whole lot. I will check it out and definitely start "squeeking my wheel" as well. Thanks for the heads-up! -Tim [Founding Member of "The 12 Animators"]

Yes, I've noticed the problem ... now that you've pointed it out.

So it's not just me then. I don't know if this constitutes a bug or not. Like I said, I've posted this to the P5 beta forum but it just gets buried and receives no response from CL....

Hey there Saxon, The graph editor is a HUGE part of animation as you know. I will make sure and look into this. Just because we don't respond doesn't mean we don't love you. :) We are paying attention. Cheers, Joe

Thanks, Joe! Elisa/gryffnn [superordinate? supernumerary? animator]

Yes, doing the same here. I went over to your post in the Beta forum and squeeked my wheel a bit. I mentioned others had posted the problem in this forum as well. Wouldn't hurt have more squeekers in the Beta forum though. Animators ... UNITE! :) -Tim

Tim, absoutely! Joe, thanks for the reassurance. Keyframing's not easy but the way the graph editors are supposed to work makes for a smooth workflow. I don't know about the others but I've often wished for another cursor line that could be left/fixed as a means of marking where you are in an animation (even annotatable - if such a word exists!)and visible in each so that if for instance, the left arm needs to raise three frames later than the right it would be easier to see where you are in the animation....

Saxon, that is a great suggestion. You should definitely mention that in the Beta forum and probably send an email to tech@curiouslabs.com as well.

That would be a great idea to post it to the beta forum and tech. Covers the bases. Bases? We don't need no stinking bases. Er... Excuse me.. I just had some sort of a moment or something. LOL
