Hi all Check out this works in progress, I'd appreciate opinions and also if anybody knows where I can get a burnt-out car wreck type model. Best wishes Jody

Hey Jody!....this 'gentleman lookks tough and solid, yet cool and mean. Great job! very nice texturing effect in the background. The foreground is kind of smooth and does not (IMHO) quite telly with those behind, texture wise. About a "blasted up" car, can't help but post production should be no problem. Great work....can't wait to see your final stuff! Bill

Hi Bill I thought as much about the ground texture, I haven't done anything with that as yet, just a basic rock texture, not sure whether to do something with a terrain or come up with some kind of dusty, ruined concrete type thing. This is a proposed title screen for a computer game, out of interest. I don't do any post-production in my pictures, if I can't do it in Vue, I don't do it :-)

just a suggestion but I would tighten the grip of the hand in front, on the gun a bit. It doesn't seem to be holding the weight of the gun,and with something that large and heavy you need a tighter grip. As for the wrecked car I haven't seen one but is there a way you could take a photo and add it to your background? Go with the dusty ruined concrete it will really suit the picture. Marge

Attention grabbing picture I say! Can't wait to see the finished project, though it looks well on the way there. Larry F
