I've been working on this for a while. Its about 80% done and already about 17 megs. This is all Bryce primitives. I am going to add an outer wall, moat, catapaults, banners, scenery, etc. later. I was looking for a decent guard or knight figure that wouldn't take up a ton of room like most poser characters, but haven't found one yet.

I am very impressed by your primatives. The only suggetion that I could make would be to change the texture on all of the tower roofs. I think that a blue tile would look great. ALso have you seen the "ultimate dragon prop?" I think that it would look great here in your final image, maybe with some lightning or something? I don't know. Ditto I Hawk, Nice primitive's work, Poser 3 has low rez charecters if you didn't need too much detail,for like guards not close to the camera. Great work so far. Hawkfyr

Makes mine look pretty silly, id kill for that texure you have on the wall so if you could tell me where you got it Id appreciate it. Great job though, and I agree with the blue tile idea, that would look great. And what is the Ultimate Dragon Prop?

Ultimate dragon prop is something made by Konan.. looks really good, though I never bothered buying.. I think it's much cheaper than Zygotes. As for the wall texture, it looks like it came from chemical studios, though of course that's just my guess.. Rosh

It looks like one of Fast Traxx brick textures

The texture is from Chemical Studios (oldbrick2, I think). Some floor and walls are also from them. The roof tex is tentative. I haven't found a decent one yet, so I'll keep looking. Thanks for the input.

have you tried fast traxx shingles, set to world space?

I believe there is a free Ultimate Dragon Prop but it's the non Posable version ' as a matter of fact It may be in the Poser free stuff section. in a no Poser formst (..obj.,3ds) or sumthin like that.If I find it I'll send the link . nice pick HawkfyR

Ultimate Dragons (there are three of them as props) are killer. Loaded right into my poser. I'm going to buy the character I think. Castle is really nice.

very very nice, I'm glade to see i'm not the only one trying to make a large castle with just primitives :) Mines far from done tho, I'm doing mine from a diffrent perspective, from inside the walls to see all the shops and houses etc.. (With the Poser figures added the file is going to be gigantic) Ether way very well done, tho I agreee about the tower roofs, someone mentined blue tile that would look nice.
