Subject: Conforming clothes to morphed body parts

I purchased Billy-T's Lingerie Pack for Vicky2 and Stephanie. Very nice set. My question is perhaps elementary but it has me stumped. If I load Vicky2 and then load the bra as a second figure and then make it conform, as an object, to the V2 figure, it fits just fine. However if I apply any morphs (such as Natural) or change the breast size, the new breast pops through the bra cup. Is there some way to have the bra conform to the new breast size or shape? Or do I have to fiddle endlessly with the scale settings on the bra in order to try to make it a different size to again cover the breast? I've seen people's Poser art with all sorts of breast sizes and shapes and droops, etc. where the bra still covers the flesh. This has me stumped.

Tailor by CodeTwister will do that for you. You can buy it at Daz. I would be lost or would end up with to many magnets to get it all to work, I never use defalt characters. Tailor will let you chose what morphs you want applied to the article of clothing. Well worth the price, and loss of hair. Tashar 59

Tailor is the best solution for wide variety of morphs, but if breast size is your chief concern, there a couple other possibilities at the MP here. First, there is a set of magnets that will mirror V2 breast sizes (by the3dwizard, I think). Second, if you are primarily interested in larger breasts, you could get wyrmmaster's Voluptuous Vicki, which has a whole system for enlarging and positioning the breasts. VVicki also has an add-on product that contains pose files that will conform much of the commercially available clothing to VVicki.

Thanks beryld and kbade for your responses. I'm on a Mac with Poser 4, but I'm guessing that Tailor is probably a PC program. (I'll go over to Daz to check.) So that may not be a solution. I guess I'm less interested in larger breasts, per se, (in fact I sometimes shrink them from the default size) than I am in realism, which involves more sag, etc. But I'll consider these suggestions. Thanks.

Yep, Tailor 1.1 is PC only. But it does make me wonder whether I could manually move morph targets from Vick2 into the brassiere and then save that as a new .cr2... Can anyone point me to a tutorial on how that might be done? It's onerous, but maybe it is the solution?

Hi scrambler6. I'm also on a Mac. Do you have Vicky2's morph clothing pak from DAZ? It is the same clothes as Vicky1's, but each article of clothing has all her body morphs already built in. So if you dial in wider hips on Vicky2, there is also a morph to match that on the pants figure. But I don't know if Billy-T's Lingerie Pack will work on the morph clothes.

I don't have the V2 morph clothing pak. Money's been tight and I just had enough to splurge on the Billy-T Lingerie Pack and one of the pairs of sandals. Kind of working from the inside out. I guess, judging from the Poser Manual, that I should be able to add morph targets to the Pack's clothes. I just have to do some research on how...

You can't move morphs from one mesh to another, they are specific to each OBJ file, and each group in that file, remove one vertice and they don't work. Best bet is magnets, I do all of SMV's (well, most all) of Supermodel Vickie's clothing morphs with magnets, of course it helps that I created the ones in the figure so I know where to put them, but it isn't rocket science, it just takes time. Another option is to buy stuff from a clothing that fits the modified figure, Gee, I wonder who does stuff like that? ;-)

Magnets should be fine if you started morphing the body itself with em (what I'm considering for Judy due to lack of physical morphs available for her)... Another opportunity in P5 might be to import the clothings mesh as a Prop, use clothing room to fit it to the new body shape, export the so shaped object, and hack the clothings CR2 to work with the exported object. Sadly clothing room has "some" (to say the least) problems with thight fiting clothes...
