Another hard truth, There are a LOT of people watching this thread. Believe it. They may not be posting, but they ARE reading. And they are forming their own opinions. BELIEVE that those people watching this thread are weighing your responses, and looking at your images and passing judgement. And it's like bad credit, sure the little stores will give you a cheesy 200 dollar limit, but the big cards and the banks will laugh in your face while they deny your application YEARS after you have cleaned up your credit report.

The simple facts are this. You're basically cheating to get your art in the Hot 20 and honestly you should be called on the carpet for it. It's lame and it honestly doesn't say much about your work. I'm not an artist here, I'm a fan and my wife who is an extremely good artist is one I'm a fan of as well as others like Schmoopy, ToxicAngel, etc. I won't say anything derogatory about your art, it's certainly far better than much of the beginner's stuff on here. But there is a huge ethics problem with being a newcomer here and having a bunch of your friends come and vote for you to get you into the Hot 20, especially MULTIPLE images of work that really isn't Hot 20 caliber. There's an ethics problem for ANYONE here to solicit votes like this. Like I say, not that it's bad, it's just not even close to belonging there over artists that don't solicit votes. I'm sure many people here could solicit votes but they do not. I've told my wife to do it before because this has previously been an issue and it seemed the only way to get there was to do it, but she holds steadfast that she will not solicit votes from family and friends and honestly I think more of her because of it. Big family, there's lots of votes that could be solicited too. She gets satisfaction from her art and learning and improving, not from artificially generated popularity. Now quit being a spoiled brat and learn and move on.

I can really tell the type of person you are. Not one admital that your behavior was out of line, nor an apology or a comment that there was meat to this arguement. I think my last line in the previous post hit the nail on the head.
