Subject: Can't find an .obj file

I am new to Poser so I am running into a couple of questions. One is when I do something like install Lori from http://digitaldreams.bbay.com/down.htm I get an error saying that it can't find an .obj file when I try to add her in a scene. Now in the zip file there is no .obj file.

Did you decode the .PCF file from the .ZIP to create the new .OBJ file in Poser's /Geometries folder? This info should be in the readme. Jim Burton's 'Lori' is based on DAZ's Lo-Rez Vicky and you must have that figure installed prior to converting Lori's .PCF difference file. All this stuff is free, you just gotta jump through these hoops to protect the rights of the generous providers.

If it does have a PCF file and you are not sure how to decode it have a look at my generic readme file. The last paragraph gives step by step instructions.

Hope this helps.

Are you sure you have Victoria from daz? If not try the afore-mentioned adress. Cheers, VCD
