Greetings all, Having purchased Poser 4 and the propack, I have installed P4 with no problems, then when I installed Propack it gave me an error during installation for the Max Plugin, it said there was a problem with MAX, My Max is legal and is perfect (Using R4.0), the error message is as on the attached files, weird how it doesnt spell 'Studio' correctly. If anyopne has similar probes can you please advise, thanks, Will Provide my Invoice No. from Curious labs if requested. (if anyone in Curious labs wants my Auth Sreen grab that was sent to Discree so as to get my Auth Code, No problem)

Had that problem to. What a pain. Go to the max forum. I finally got it to work. I think I had to point the install to the Max folder. Dont let it just look for it. Ron

hey max and poser must be installed on the same hard drive, and like c:/curiouslabs/poser c:/3dsmax meaning they have to be on the same part on the hard drive, otherwise the installer will not find it and work, and you also must have the right plugin version, I think there's one for max 3/4, but not for five.... hope that helps, btw, once installed you probably will have to correct the installation by getting the files to their places... if you get into that let me know and i'll tell you what to do.... I did that a million times than switch to max five and the plugin don't work.... well back to obj exporting....hehehhehehe

then sorry, it won't work at all.... I've been trough it, that's why it didn't bother me to buy poser 5, cause it ain't got the plugin anyways so I'm back to the obj export/import....
