Some primitives, a water plane, lights, and a couple of dolphins from Poser...simplicity is fun.

Good image. My advice is to lower the Earth planet some more, an get rid of the pyramid thing in the middle, or else aybe move it to the left side. Then maybe add a few terrains in the background.

alexants, Also the 'Earth' is too (close?) or too solid or too something. if the 'Earth' were lower it might frame or offset the pyrimid somewhat - that might look good. haze(more?) (darker - closer to color of the water ?). Are you using a sphere as the starscape? looks good, but you might want to brighten the stars slightly. that reminds me I have to play around with stars some more myself in a few days - thanks for the reminder. - TJ

I dunno why, but for some reason it evokes something in my thoughts toward the Hitchhiker's series... "So long, and thanks for all the fish." just happened to pop into my head right when I saw this. Dunno if that was your intent. :) But whatever the inspiration, I know that I enjoyed looking at it. L8R!
