Any final thought on this morph before I call it finished? Thanks for your time.

Not bad at all ... but I would probably make both the ears and the nose longer ... nose is a tad bit more pointy at the end, and maybe if you attached the lobe a little more at the bottom. I'm not an expert on Anubis/Anpu, but I do have a few statues of him and the nose and ears are longer. It would make him appear more regal and God-like. :-) Thanks, Rhi

Sorry I can not take the nose any longer and still be able to open the mouth, and have his face show expressions. I really wanted the nose longer, and I had not meant for his mouth to open at all, Maybe I could include a mat pose for the longer nose and have the mouth not open As for the ears I can go larger Thanks for your input.

Well Rhiannon you are right, it does look better with the changes you mentioned and the mouth still opens

What do you think?

Thanks

hmmm...personally I prefer the first one...though the longer ears are a great enhancement :)

I like the pointier nose. Very nice! :-) -dg

Both! I'm greedy! They're both cool, and would look great in scene together. Are you going to package these for sale? Toss in a couple of textures and it's be a real winner.

the eyes - having as reference Anubis images, the eyes should be very elongated, and with pointy corners.

Personally, as an Anubis figure, I prefer the second one, definitely ... the first nose is too stubby for a jackal. And I agree about the eyes, good observation. Is it possible to make the ears wider towards the bottom ... don't know if that one can be done, but if not, no sweat ... I think you're definitely on track. Excellent! Keep us updated!

I would just like to say thanks for every ones input. Here are the final (I hope changes) I have decided to put both of these characters in the same package. Some people like the first one some the second, so I figure that would be the answer. I have changed the eyes in the attached pic Should I texture him? If so I am thinking marble/gloss look?

Kewl!!! Can't wait, it looks really good! As far as the texture, my favorite statue is kind of a low-gloss black, with gold accents. He's pretty cool lookin'. :-) Excellent job ... I can sure think of a few uses for Anubis! Rhi

It took me so long to finish Anubis because I only found one decent picture. Do you have any pics you could send?

Number 3. Hope these help ... the light was a bit bright, so the gloss shows up pretty well ... you may or may not want something this shiny, but I do think a nice low gloss black texture would be cool.
