Can't find my DAZ freebie gorilla--thought I had him on a CDR, but I guess not. Bummer. If you see him, please send him home.

I believe the actual download name was ps_an045.exe - perhaps you could try a filefind on the name? Good luck! Jerry B

His would have been a .sit file though I think.

Thanks, guys--I'll check again...

If you contact DAZ they may allow you to download him again. They seem to be very accomodating. Unfortunately I was on a business trip when that one came out, so I missed out on him completely. :-( But if you downloaded him when he was available, they may be willing to give you another crack at him. Would not hurt to ask, anyway. jon

Got it--you guys rock. Now what the hell are all those OTHER ps-whatever files? Cripes...

Daz's coding is pretty easy to figure out..ps_tx are textures.. ps_an-animals ps_mo - motions, poses, sometimes clothing ps_ac - accessories ps_pe - people ps-ch- characters anyway that's what I have learned :)

leather-guy ( ) posted Wed, 06 November 2002 at 6:07 PM

I think ps_mr is morph-type products, like MicMorphClothes1&2 - ps_mr009b.exe Orc-Vic - ps_mr008b.exe

Site Admin Online Now!

Whenever i get anything from daz i alwaeys rename the file to something more appropriate. I renamed the gorilla LE file to "Gorilla", Usulally what I do is just copy the product name from the invoice, then when i rename the file i just do ctrl V to paste in the product name...

S i didn't catch on to it until I was searching daz for something and saw the names and figured out the correlations :)

I understand why they would do that for housekeeping, but it would be nice if they would put a name on their file too. They all look the same when your looking for something in particular.
