but anyways, got a new tune up. A lot different than the first two. This one has a distinctly electronica/trance-ish feel to it. Everyone in class had to take out a certain cd with "raw sound files", meaning, professionally recorded sounds (in stereo too), but they aren't cleaned up (meaning little things like mic pops and stuff are still in, thus, they are raw). We had to choose the tracks that appealed to us the most, then isolate the exact sounds in each track we wanted to keep, and then do whatever we wanted to do to them. I ended up creating largely percussion based loops outta them. They have a distinct beat to them, but they don't follow a proper time signature (its odd, you can air drum to them perfectly fine, but don't try tapping yer toe, heh heh). Anyways, this is more enjoyable, and I'm a lot happier overall. Used Cool Edit Pro (good bye Sound Edit, thank god). 2 minutes long, mp3, about 2 megs to download. Anyways, ya, go for it if ya want... ry
