Subject: what does d'Esprit mean?

Have had Vue4 for about a month. I think it is awesome! It crashes too much, but it renders better than Poser4, and handles poser files better than Bryce4, so I'll live with the crashes. Just wonder what does d'Esprit mean - is it french? thanks

Yep, it's french !!! "d'Esprit" in english is "of spirit" or maybe "of mind". "Vue d'Esprit" is a sort of hallucination, what you can see with your mind's eyes, it's all about imagination... For your crash problem, as you have Vue4 for one month, I suppose it's a 4.1 version. If it's not, download the patch. The source of the problem could be the OpenGL preview mode that your GPU doesn't support. Try to upgrade to the very last patch for it, and if it doesn't work, try to disable it in you option menu. If you want more help on this, post more details about what makes your Vue crashing, or go to see support on E-on website... Argentium Thri'ile

Argentium, "Vue d'Esprit" is a sort of hallucination - does that mean you can smoke it? Haven't found out so far how! Probably the manual (the german version has some very funny phrases in it - coming from the translation)! :-))) Walther

Put "d'Esprit" together with Vue, and it has a whole different meaning. What it really means is that you won't have time for the wife, kids, work, etc.

Yep, Walther, you can smoke manual, or even ingest CD... :-) You're reason, Jcleaver, it's a sort of strange hallucination, with no time and no space (and no wife, kids, work...) LoL ! Argentium Thri'ile

Vision of Spirit literal translation of Vue d`Esprit I always figured it was to be interpreted as Creative Vision in meaning. ~g~

Some years ago, Vue had two names, the original one in French: "Vue d'Esprit" and one in English: "Land of Spirits" :-)Guitta
