This is the Poser 3 male and female. She is wearing a Poser fashion dress. He is wearing Mike's 3 piece suit from Poser world subscription area. I just thought I'd post it to show that there is plenty out there for Poser 3 users. My tip is to just try things out. It takes a bit longer to pose things but I'm still having fun!

Very nicely done! ... and thanks for posting. I'm sure there are many folks out there in Poserland who feel frustrated by the limitations in Poser 3 when compared to Poser 4, but you have done a good job of illustrating that sometimes, the limitations are only in one's own mind. Just a friendly "Hello" I think you may have something in the fact that P3s are of much value. My main guy "Jake" is a P3 and there is no way he's going to evolve into a "Mike". Jake has been places and seen things that the "boy" will never get a chance to know as all the "boy" has to do is stand around and look pretty which is a task in itself for his ugly self. Not only that pretty thing but Jake can run faster and jump higher than any other Poser on the block. Yep P3s are the way to go Incidently the machine I run is recent so I can handle the big eaters ..... but prefer not to.

Nice to see more people flying the Poser 3 flag. "the limitations are only in one's own mind" as geep says. You did well to fit Mike clothing onto the Dork - I had enormous trouble trying to make Posette wear Vicki's clothes. :-)

While sifting through the forum, I was so glad to see Poser3. That's what I have!! I've been trying, SO HARD to find clothing (and characters) To "fit" the poser3 people. Everything it seem is for the poser4 people. HOW did you get the poser4 clothing on a poser3? Do you know how to mess with the text files to get a downloaded character and/or clothing to fit on a poser3? When I bring in a character for poser4 it usually gives me a "caught exception trapped violation", what ever that means. And sometimes it will just bring in a chest or the accessories like an earring. Hope you can answer my many questions.Thank You all.

I've answered your e-mail Dyan, but I'll post here for the benefit of anybody searching for answers. The exception thingy in Poser 3 usually means one of three things: 1) You don't have the 3.01 update patch applied; 2) It called up a geometry file that Poser 3 doesn't have, e.g. one of the Poser 4 people or clothes; 3) Some other Poser 4 feature which is more difficult to fix. The Poser 3 and Poser 4 people are identical as far as clothes fitting goes, but you have to pose the clothes in P3 since they won't conform. Most clothing that I tried in P3 could be made to work. Let me know what you're having trouble with, either here or via e-mail, and I'll try to tell you either how to fix it, or why it won't work. ;-)
