AAAAHHH!!!! My bike is locked because some stupid person pushed it over. Now it has fallen outside the area where you may park your bicycles in our school. Someone locked it up and I have to wait until 15:30 untill they release my bike!! I'm waiting here for one hour now and I'm getting really bored. After I hacked the schoolgrades and I've uploaded all vital data that I'm not allowed to have I'll take the network down as revenge. H! (Really evil laugh) So does anyone know where to get a really agressive virus that will infect all computers in the network?

It's OK to get angry rayraz but don't go overboard 'cos you'll probably wish you hadn't when you calm down again. I agree with Darkginger, no way is school the best time of your life, as far as I remember it was totally miserable. Hope things improve for you rayraz. Best wishes. Catlin

Am I the only one that would rather be back in school and not have to worry about bills, work, raising kids and all the other responsibilites that adult life brings? In school you only had to worry about passing that next test and getting good grades. Dating was sure a hell of a lot easier, now it seems there are no more single and available women.

I wouldn't mind going back to school, but would not EVER be a teenager again!

I would never want to go back to highschool, yucky years. But I've been going to college part time for past nine years and I love it. Don't know about dating, been married 18 yrs now. My funnest yrs were 19, 20, 21. thats about as far back I would wanna go in age. (lol, those yrs are after HS and before marriage = FREEDOM years).

I was playing a bit more angry than I was, but it still sucked. Next time I'll take a big pincer and I'll just break the lock open :) (I warned them about that and one of the teachers agreed that that would be a good option)

And about the going back to school thing: I honestly don't know why I'm at school at the moment. The only thing that keeps me at school is the fact that I'll have better chances at work with a diploma. I'd rather start with my animatronics study and go to the JON orchestra.

Jeez! I hated school. Still do and I haven't been there for years! LOL Someone told me that everyone remembers a good teacher - well I only remember the bad ones, and that's all of them. If I could meet them all now I'd probably kill them. They treated me like dirt and made my life a misery. Now in later life, having had to deal with my kid's teachers I find myself still repelled by them. They complain that they can't disipline the kids and that kids scare them. Well tough! They and their predecessors brought it on themselves. We're only getting our own back. Sorry, but I needed to let off some steam......... The Bryster (Chris)

Yeah I agree Rayraz. As long as you are diligent with getting your work done there is TONS of time leftover for anything else you want to do. (bryce, bryce, bryce, and basketball for me) I know that when I am an adult and have a real job I will have much more to worry about and much less time in which to deal with it. Plus it's fun to see people's faces when you point to something you made in bryce, especially if they don't know you too well. And even better, I can use bryce for many projects in my classes. As teens our job is high school. It's easy: Wake up at 6:45 Take a long shower MAYBE eat a fruit bar or something Finish homework at the last minute ;) Bike to school (6 minutes) Go to math, sit through math, bored through math Go to US History AP, sit through USHAP, bored through USHAP Talk to friends during brunch Go to American Literatur Honors, sit through ALH, ALH is fun Go to photography, develop stuff, Photography is fun Lunch, play basketball, talk with friends No 5th period, Catch up on Rosity(right now!) Go to Physics, Sit through physics, physics is easy Go to health, site through health, health is stupid THHEEENNN, after school, play tennis, go home At home, watch tv, do bryce Then do homework. then do more bryce, and bryce, and bryce, and bryce, and bryce until 11:30 and that's my day.....I like it :)

wow, it seems like there is the under 20 crowd and the over 40 crowd. Anyone inbetween 20 & 40? hehe, I fall into the over 40 and like ICM have a lot of trouble remembering back that far. Selective memory or just senility who knows.

Bah. I'm 26 and highschool is still pretty fresh in my mind. And let me tell you, those memories have not improved with time. There is very little that I can say was good about highschool. Didn't go to grad. Although I understand celebrating leaving a place I hate, it makes no sense to celebrate it with people I don't like, in a place I hate, and have to pay for the experience to boot. Finished my last exam, cleaned out my locker, walked away from the building. Didn't even get on the bus. Took city transit. Haven't been back since. Now my life is good. Beautiful wife, two beautiful daughters, self employed in a career I love. Every age I have been AFTER school has been the best age of my life, and the rule still holds. Freedom and spare time don't go hand in hand. Just because I had more spare time in highschool certainly didn't mean I had the knowledge or means to utilize it. Ever notice that the time that drags on the longest is the time you are NOT in control of? ie. Waiting at the Doctor's office, sitting in traffic, or going to school. I won't pretend that life's always a bowl of cherries right now, but it's all mine. I guess one of the benefits of hating my highschool years is that I'll never waste any time trying to recapture them.

I am also between 20 and 40. Nothing in the Universe could induce me to go back to being a teenager. I did not get on well with other people, including my family. Thank the deity of your choice for adult independence. Things have been getting better ever since. Of course, I am not raising children, unless you count myself. ;) For those still in school, I can't even describe how different it was for me to leave high school. Ray, You'll be my age before you know it. Enjoy every minute of your youth, because even at the worst of it - you're still young. Don't waste your time on revenge it takes away from the time you could be using to meet girls, find a good job and do your artwork. If you need a physical outlet run, study a martial art, climb hills etc. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the ears on that head you were modeling in Amapi. Rayaz, take deep breaths, actually I liked High School, I was one of three artists in an agricultural high school, we were considered eccentric and pretty much could get away with anything, you know those 'creative types' are weird anyway... my high school days were in a farming community my parents moved us to, used to live in the big city. You think you're bored now, try a town where everything is closed by 5pm, (17:00). What a boring place, still, it helped my art...(I thought cow tipping was cruel, that was the big past time):p

Zhann, sounds like where I grew up. All-American folk... red-necks, white-socks, and Blue Ribbon beer. Except it was the cows that would walk by and tip over the people standing asleep in the pastures. :o)

In my experience, creative kids (also known as nerds) make non-creative kids (cool kids,sports stars and the odd bully or two) uncomfortable and jealous. This can result in some very unhappy situations. Looking at the same kids I grew up with, the creative kids have good jobs, good pay, went to college,etc. The non-creative kids are scraping by in dead in jobs and are working under the supervision of the creative kids. So if you're still in high school, just remember, you've got a better future ahead of you than they have. Time not only heals all wounds, it also wounds all heels.

I'm a bit known as nerd yes, but only as computer nerd and I'm proud of it. I'm not really the always-studying-and-getting-superb-grades-nerd. I've got no real creative lessons this year. Only tons of: -Math. Either just a bit to difficult to be fun or far to easy to be challenging. (depends on the kind of subject) -Physics. I can get through that, but it takes a lot of work. -Chemics (I hope I spelled it right). Not as easy as it used to be and also unspeakably boring. No spectecular experiments anymore. - Dutch. I don't know why I even bother to go to those classes. - English. Fun to annoy the teacher by doing nothing and still getting good grades. - Literature. I don't get a f*ck of post-modernism. But the worst thing: I have to find a right study for next year and that means I don't have any time left to go to the JON orchestra and I can't give to many concerts.

Rayraz, tell us more about your orchestra. Do you play an instrument and if so what do you play? Catlin

I play the viola. I've been playing the violin for years, and after a while I thought it was time for change and that's how I got to the viola. It's really been a great step. The viola fits me better and I've made gret improvement over the last few years. The orchestra I was talking about is a national orchestra for young people up to the age of 23(?not 100% sure). Every once in a while the whole orchestra comes to gether for a long weekend and than they go study a few pieces of music. It's a quite professional level. You start really early in the morning and you play the whole day and then you're lucky to get 4 hours of sleep. And after such a weekend the orchestra gives a concert. These concerts aren't neccesarily in the Netherlands. The orchestra plays all around europe. And every summer the orchestra goes on a tour. There's always a shortage of good viola's and that's why people asked me to go in the orchestra. Ofcoarse I'd love to do that, but the concerts and study-weekends are always nery close to my exams or even at the same time. And if I don't have exams I have to go to colleges to find out if they have the right study for me for next year. So the big problem is lack of time. Maybe next school year... I'm already in another orchestra right now, but I'm getting a bit to old and good for it. At the moment I usually feel like the only one who can play all the notes flawwless and I usually have to help the younger people. I'd love to sit in the front row and lead the viola's, but I seem to be to good at helping the younger ones. I now usually hope that one of the 2 people in front of me can't come, so I'll get to lead the viola's. That's much more fun. The people in the front row play just as good as me and sometimes better. That way you can push each other to play even better and I love that. And then ofcoarse one of the to on the front row is this really cool girl... :)

I thought there might be a girl there somewhere ;) This is great stuff rayraz, do you think you would ever want to play in a professional, dare I say it, adult orchestra? I love classical music and the cello and viola are my favourite instruments. I play a little piano myself but nowhere near performance standard. Does your orchestra ever come over to Scotland? If you do come here to play please let me know because I'd love to hear it. Your really a man of many talents aren't you. Hope you find the time to keep up your music, I'm sure you would miss it if it wasn't part of your life. Best wishes Catlin

I'll check where the orchestra will play. I'd love to play on a professional level, but only if I also have time to work on 3D. I'll never quit playing. Don't worry about that. I've always loved music. I really listen to everything. Classic, blues, jazz, hiphop, rap, hardrock. But I like classical music best. I have a few CD's of my own wich I often listen too and My father has more than a hundred cd's, so there's never a music shortage :) What are your favourite pieces? Personally I really like 8 stke from Hindemith, Adagio for strings from Barber, Meditation from Tha Massenet (I played that one a few weeks ago, went really well.), letzter fruhling (hope I spelled that right) from Grieg. and many others. I also like some piece of Paganini, Mendelssohn, Saint-Sas.

I'll probably be very carefull with the girl. Last time I fouled around with a nice girl her boyfriend came along and started a fight. Eventually he hit me and we started fighting. I can't say he was a honorable opponent he hit me only once while he tried to hit me 5 times. I warned him after the first punch that he would get every punch back, but he didn't listen. So after he tried another four times (and missed me) he had gotten two black eyes and a nose bleed from me and gave up. The only problem was that the girl didn't really like me for hitting him. I acted purely out of self defense (offence is the best defence), but I had no chance with the girl anymore.

Junior high: Sucked. High School: Sucked too. Was going to high school during the Son of sam nonsense. Loved hearing people say what they are going to do if they found Mr sam's son. College was when things were more interesting. Walked by my high school and expected to have all sorts of flashbacks but was surprised to find almost nothing. Hope that I don't come back and do that stuff again.
