Subject: I'm looking for an interior of comercial airliner

skee ( ) posted Fri, 08 November 2002 at 12:39 PM · edited Wed, 20 November 2024 at 5:14 PM

Someone made a model of interior of an airliner sometime back. Anyone remember who and where to find a link to their site. Thanks skee

You can find it for sale at turbosquid.com. It's not cheap, though.

Well not an airliner but an "executive" jet interior. Might take a look at the link and see if this $7.50 item fits your needs.

www.iw43d.com They have an interior of a bussiness jet and a standard airliner. Cheers, Joe

I worked for an Ail-Line for 7 years myself (although it's been quite sometime) I'm with you on that genny. : / LOL Anyway, 737 commercial and 737 BBJ may be out of range for your budget but everything on it is fully posable. We also have a Gulfstrea and a cessna that are more reasonable that come with both interior and exterior, and all are fully posable. with stairs that come down, doors that open and close, bla-bi-dee-bla-bla-bla. Here's the link. We have a real SPECIAL model we've just completed and will be releasing very soon. HINT... It's a vehicle.. not for space nor for land. I'm probably going to post our fly-through somewhere... so what is the most common movie player in this community? Or is it simply personal preference that varies quite a bit? We currently have the movie in Real player format, but we can put it in any other format if it is preferred. Please advise if you have any input on this question I've posed (POSED, NYUYK NYUK NYUK) We're also going tp ask for suggested retail pricing from you all with the preview. I shoulda started a new thread... and I will when it's time.... Until then... Sorry for getting off track on your thread skee. Cheers! Pamola

A MAJOR DITTO on what Ratteler said, with a "May REAL go down in flames!" to boot. (hee-hee) Seriously, MPEG, Quicktime or Windows Media (my fav) are all good choices. Windows Media gives you fantastic image quality with incredibly small file sizes. Good luck! Can't wait! -Tim [Founding Member of "The 12 Animators"]

Pam: I just looked through pretty much all the models for sale on your site. I am blown away! You have some absolutely fantastic items there.

I wish they weren't so pricey, but they look stunning. I love the mouseover on the gigantic spaceship showing you all the sections! NICE WORK!!

I do have a few questions though:

  1. When will ordering be available online? Currently none of the buttons work.

1b) If so, will we be able to download directly after purchasing?

  1. How will the Poser version render? I'm assuming the pictures you're showing (of the office interiors, for example) are NOT rendered in Poser.

2b) Could we download both versions (3DS and Poser) with our purchase? Are you offering any CD collections or bundles in the near future?

Did I mention I wanted to know when your items will be avaialble for purchase? ;-)

Thanks,
Tim

Thanks for the kind words and compliments on our roducts and our site. Much appreciated In answer to your ?'S... 1) When will ordering be available online? Currently none of the buttons work. That's a good ?. They should have been done weeks ago. We have a new host provider that is setting up our shopping cart. We've x'cld our merchant account and will be using theirs so I'm afraid they have to handle it on their end. We haven't ragged on them about it though since I know they're involved in a big project right now and also, they've been very good to us. I will get back to you on that one though, Tim. 1b) If so, will we be able to download directly after purchasing? Yes. Otherwise we would not have included all of those pesky little order buttons for each model ;) 2) How will the Poser version render? I'm assuming the pictures you're showing (of the office interiors, for example) are NOT rendered in Poser. Not that particular model, NO. but all of these models render well in Poser and are all fully posable models. The only props we have are our trains in Poser. In 3ds, however, these same trains have all moving parts. Some models on the site are rendered in Poser, some aren't. But I would like to tell you that we rendered several images of our "new" model i P4 and even were were surprised at how good they looked. YAY! 2b) Could we download both versions (3DS and Poser) with our purchase? Yes. All models have unique names so anything on the site except the models in the Poser Architecture section where it reads "Coming Soon". They've not yet been converted to Poser.... but those same models ARE all available at this time in 3ds. Are you offering any CD collections or bundles in the near future? Yes. We already have one ready with our entire collection on it. The labels & jewel cases(front cover, back and insert) have already been designed, all readme text with both CD and model Loading instructions are done, Our Poser License Agreement, Credits, and some animations to demonstrate how some of the models work/play... although after hearing what people have to say bout Real Player, are re-thinking that (we'll most likely convert it to a more suitable format for the users.) All data has been archived in zip files. Did I mention I wanted to know when your items will be avaialble for purchase? ;-) LOL! Yes, thank you again Timoteo (Like that login name BTW : ) Our models are ALL avaialbe now for purchase. We accept PayPal or personal check. IF you have PayPal and would like to make a purchase, all you have to do is send payment to the contact email address on the site, and just copy the model file name into the notes box. Wehn we receive a virification of payment made, we will simply send the file to you via email. If your email server can't handle the file size, we then make arrangement sot have you download the file from our secure ftp site. So there you have it. Thanks again for the nice note. We look forward to becoming more involved in this community. The people here at Renderosity and in the community as a whole are just GREAT! Here's a link to our WIP page..... it's a little sneak preview of our new model for ya'll! Thanks again for your inquiry, Tim. Cheers! Pam
