Well here it is. Unfortunately it is 41.8 MB file and I don't have the room or bandwith to host it. If someone would need it I guess we could figure out some way to send it. (ie. yahoo IM or something similar).

One thing I found out is if you duplicate a path with objects linked and constrained to it, all the objects on the duplicated path become unconstrained (but still linked). Clicking on constrain again doesn't help because it just resets it's position along the path to 0 so you'd have to reposition everything. The workaround would be save the path as a preset or a scene file and load from presets or merge respectively.

The tree would lockup my Bryce when I tried to export it from presets.

Stats:
paths 9
Trees 60
metaballs 333

Render normal AA with 900 MHz 256 MB RAM : 15:26
Render no AA : 2:10

Here's an example.

With only 6 trees it was choking my machine. Using multi-replicate would lock it up.

Oh this is a Southern plantation called Oak Alley.

Here's a tree I made using a lattice for the trunk, and Bryce trees for clumps of leaves. It doesn't create that big of a file and renders pretty fast. I can make these fairly quick, too. Patrick Tuten

I did something similar using Amorphium for the trunk and Bryce for the branches. Interesting results. I like your tree.
