Subject: black shading?

Why is there black shading when the profile in this area is not receased in any way in this area? This is a morph target opening a mouth. Patrick

It's because of the split in the mesh there. Notice on the left, there appear to be creases or seams? Odds are this is somehow splitting the mesh, and the lighting setup is causing poser to shade towards the naked edges, meaning that it is creating those shadows there.

the mesh has been warped to where it is foldes over its self showing a back face or as was stated it was stressed to where it split at a seam sowing the dark interior of the model. you can try reworking the morph or make some magnets and creat your own spreading the afected area out more to take the stress off the seams. hope this helps laters Vel
