O.K., I've finally managed to get some time to start playing with Vue and already I'm stuck. Hmmm. I'm (attempting) to do a tutorial on page 264 of the manual and have been told to open the function editor in the transparancy channel. It's gone! according to what I have been reading (I think) I've done what I was supposed to have done. Looked everywhere for it: right clicked, left clicked, double left clicked, checked everywhere except under my keyboard. This seems to be common in all channels except color and bump. What have I done wrong?

increase the percent of Global transparency. grayed out effects panel will be active. click on Variable transparency that should bring out the func ed I hope that helps Ozan

Oh yeah... that makes a difference. I guess you can't edit transparancy when there isn't any... Thanks Ozan. Jeez I'm stupid sometimes.
