You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

I just got in there no problems - http://www.baument.com. Perhaps there's a router glitch somewhere?

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Sun, 17 November 2002 at 3:45 PM

Yeah perhaps. I just got in now as well. It might have been overloaded b4, I got a dns error.... strange. But anyway it works now and I'm happy :o)

Ah isn't this great? Turns up it wasn't the site I was looking for. Perhaps someone can help me. All I remember was that it was a site in german and that it - among others - had a COOL free church ruin. I have an idea the guy's name starts with a H, but I'm not sure. Little_Dragon, are you around??? Please?

I just visited that site and it's got some nice stuff, but I can't find any way to download them. Nothing is clickable in there. Melanie

Maybe try a different browser.
In the middle of the page is a Javascript with buttons for 'Buildings', 'Coaches' and so on. If you click on those you see in the upper part of the page the links to the download area. This loads in the lowers part of the page.

Yep, kinda complicated. ;)

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Sun, 17 November 2002 at 11:37 PM

Yeah, I can get the images to load in the lower part of the page. A castle and and a tower (if you choose buldings). But with IE6, I still get no clickable area. He only states Netscape and Mac users will have a problem. Also, it's a very slow server.

TrekkieGrrrl ( ) posted Mon, 18 November 2002 at 1:28 AM

The server is more than slow sigh but it's there. Thanks :o) I also had troubles getting the links to work in IE6 so I clicked the Netscape/Mac link which took me to a more useable page :o) So I would advice anyone who is having trouble to do so. It's a pity the site is scripted that way. Sure it looks cool (when it works) but otoh it leaves out a lot of people whho simply give up.

The only browser I have on my computer is IE5. I guess that must be the problem. I don't have Netscape or any other. This came with the computer and I've never upgraded it. It's a really impressive site, but I guess when people design their sites to impress, they don't think of details like whether everyone can access it or not. It took me forever just to view DAZ's new layout. My computer kept arguing with Direct X because of security problems. Melanie
