Hey'll I've just been given victoria 1 as a gift from a friend and tried to install it,now being the shocking Poser noobie that I am I have no idea if I've done it right, does anyone have any tutoria links that can help me out, I've tried to do what it said in the set up section looked for the file, but I cant find it.. thanks

Just double click the exe and let it set it self up.

The Victoria model your friend bought for you *IS* an 'exe' file, right? If it's not, you should e-mail a copy of it to DAZ (the people who made Victoria), and tell them what the problem is. Make sure that you give them your name and address, too. I'll bet they fix you up, right fine.

yeah it is a exe file and no it's not a warez, well I dont know if it is, I'll have to ask him struth hope not..

Just to let you know if it is warez (and I am not accusing of anything 'casue I am not in the mood to fight) then you should also update your virus protection and do a complete scan of your computer cause you prob got a trojan with it.

I just asked my friend and he said it's a real spanky verson of Victoria he cant figure out why it wont work. the stephanie one he gave me also worked fine. I dunno I'm stumped

Did he transfer the license? I realize that DAZ doesn't serialize their models, but they do invoice them and he should be able to contact DAZ and let them know that the one he bought is really for someone else. Otherwise, it sounds like "Arvedarr" software, the best of the pirate hord.

I gotta problem with my victoria too. It worked allright the first time I loaded her into poser 4, then every time there after when I load vicki it's just a miniskirt. Also my Cleopatra wont load right. It shows her picture right , in the DAZ people folder, but she wont load. Friggin' poser! Why couldnt they make an application to put everything into the correct folder automatically?

I figured out the problem I had to reinstall Poser and it now works. it would have been a shame if the xmas gift didnt work.. thanks again for all the help peoples..
