I haven't doen anything really abstract for a while, but this really caught my eye today.

I think there is some real potential in these...

But I only had about 5 minutes to shoot, so I will have to go back when I have some more time...

Any guesses as to what this is?

Somekind of Photoshop tweak tool? Actually, I'm not sure are these ugly or beautiful images. And that's always good thing. .n

I have no clue. Some of it looks like metal vanity kit from a turn of the century ladies dressing table then some of it looks like a set of fireplace tools. I can say cool images! Magick Michael aka zhounder

Weighing heavily on brass and the third photo, I'd hazard a guess of a saz or some musical instrument. But, remember I couldn't guess the okra plant.

Clueless here too....... whatever it is it's very creative! Beautiful abstracts.

I know exactly what these are. However, my Mum raised no idiots, and as everyone else is stuck and discretion is the better part of valour, I'm not going to show everyone up by just blurting it out. (",) (Actually, NFI, but if I had to guess I'd say taps. Faucets to you guys.)

Saying a reflective surface is cheating as any object we see and/or photograph is some type of reflective surface. After all, if an object didn't reflect light then we wouldn't see it ;-) Or would we? hehehe

At any rate, these are patterns of light and the reflection of the world as viewed through a glass brick. You know... The kind they use on buildings. I made a bunch of different exposures, but these (which were under-exposed by at least three stops) fascinated me. They were made using my macro lens and then focusing on the space inside the bricks.

I do think that they move beyond the realm of being abstract and into the realm of being non-objectives. Fortunaely the building is fairly new and will be there for quite some time, so I can go back and play with this concept more as the mood stikes.

Thanks for the feedback.
