How do I move and rotate items like lights? I cannot rotate my spots and such to set the scene the way I want. i bought my disk of a friend who has lost his documentation, so I am flying by the seat of my pants here. I dont want all my lighting pointing straight down please help

Hit the number 2 on your keyboard. This will take you into top view. You can move things this way if you want. To rotate, click the "edit" tab at the, top, and drag on the rigs around the white cube.

you select them just like any other object

and if you want the lights to shine on a specific object no matter where you move it you hit the light attribute button and link to the abject and it will follow it

I think track would work better than link.

Make sure you have the light.object selected, first off. After that, you can move the light/object with any of the edit tools in whatever view you feel confortable with.

Because I like to blow $%&# up.
