Subject: Critique needed on my first project!

I'm new to the forum and this modeling thing. I've had 3DS Max 2.0 for awhile but was rather afraid of the interface:) Anywho, I decided the other day to sit down and try to figure it out and this is what I've come up with so far (image below is not the best render, haven't figured the best way to render in 3DS) it's far from finished, but I want to see what you experienced modelers think. I'm pretty pleased with my first attempt, although this was supposed to be a flat surface like leather:)

It looks alot like you did a point to point mesh with the Original figure. The angles and poly lines are almost exactly like Victorias...except for the little drap kind of thingy. You'll get over the interface, it just takes time...but than again, some never get over it, and switch to maya or lightwave

Oops, I should have mentioned that the clothing only is what I moodeled, my bad there= I used Victoria for reference for contours etc.
