Hello people I have been quite busy lately, with a new project I'm working on, I have expend about 100 hours on it and here is the preliminary results, I builded an entire block in my city "Helsinki" that is going to be a new kind of entertainment center, is have take a lot of work and patience, the final model size is about 40 megs, but once is placed and saved in carrara it increase to 250 megs, as you might understand the minimum chance takes a lot to generate, well but am done for the moment with this. I do have a couple questions to make, about how can I saves my views permanently in carrara, it happens all the time I open the file the vies I save are gone, what a disappointment, and the other thing is about the four seasons plug in, is there any chance to save the sky I have created some where, like in Bryce Ok this is all for now Thanks Doug.

Saving your views? Do you mean what the camera is pointing at? I do that by making multiple cameras and positioning them to the different places I want to look at and from. Then I do all my 'wandering about' with the director's camera. If I get a spot I like I put a camera there by making a new camera and copying the numbers from the director's camera over to it.

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Hey this is a great pic, not for the detail but for its geoform flow. SO many people forget the importance of motion in stills as to setting emotions or guiding the viewer to the focal point and you have demostrated here in this pic the flow can be detail within itself. The picture on top really makes my eyes travel alot without the confusion of clutter good job

Excellent modelling and rendering work. If you want to use multiple views, use multiple cameras. The only way you could use a Bryce sky would be to do a Bryce render and use it as a backdrop in Carrara. I have done this before with okay results, though it might not work so well with the angles you are using. Brian P. Retford Carrara Extensions www.losthorizonsoftware.com

Thanks tom all for the comments and help support, but I still haven't found what Im looking for, "I've heard this song before" well here is the thing, I get use to the Bryce system where you have just one camera, so the saving the views was very useful, In carrara you can save views on a similar way by giving a name to them, but those views and name disappear next time I open the file. Due to the work I do, I need to render a minimum of 8 pictures each time, that's why for me the best way to do it is with one camera, and animating the camera one frame at the time, so that I can save a bmp or jpg sequence. This system at least this far can not be possible if I have many cameras. Im wondering if this problem is some kind of bug in the program, because why in hell they will put a tool that is useless after you close your file, I have to start over to get the saved views I want. About the sky, I believe that this four seasons works almost like Bryce sky lab, with the difference that you cant save the sky you do, so if any one knows how to save them, please let me know, to save a sky picture from Bryce could be a good way to do it, to but is no exactly what I have on mind Thanks again Doug.
