These are just some leftovers from my last few rolls, so probably nothing special anyway. But for the sake of not having posted anything new for the last 2 months or so, I might as well show them anyway =)

The exposure is always kind of tricky with bright colors, velvia and bright sunlight, so I wasn't dissapointed with the results themselves to be honest. ;)

It's just a shame that at those busy places you can hardly take photos without people running around in the background.....really annoying. I want some kind of laser gun on the next Nikon body, that automatically clear anyone that's in your viewfinder when you press the shutter :)

Was just getting so close that I bumped with the lens hood into the car.....but nobody noticed, case in the background people were waiting for Michael Schumacher to come outside (you know, one of the best F1 race drivers).

One of my all time favorite race cars.....shame they already placed it in the trailer. :(

Can't resist posting this one.....imagine the size of this meeting. Multply the cars you can see here by 5 or 6 and you have the total of Ferrari's that day.....something like over 1500. Fantastic stuff.....felt like a kind in a huge toy store - without seeing anything I could afford ;)

hot car shots! my faves are 6 & 3, car in the trailer, perfectly framed & the airstream, just have a thing for retro...yea lasering the ppl out during shooting would save a lot of time from the postcloning- lol

Like #7. When you are my age, buying a car like this is a symptom of something... I forget... But they are so RED?

"I want some kind of laser gun on the next Nikon body, that automatically clear anyone that's in your viewfinder when you press the shutter :)" Yeah, I think if you buy one of the system cameras, it's an option...LOL. Of course, I got rid of my old Canon F-1. Having no system camera, I just carry a Glock with a silencer...it makes a little bit of noise, but around places like you were at, no one would notice. OK, so now I show how stupid I am. The car in the trailor...it looks like an old McLaren but I suppose it's another Ferrari. We have the NOPI Nationals here in Atlanta...at the race track here. This year, there were over 5,000 "rice buggies" here. Man! No matter where you went, you seemed to see those guys. Of course, they're NOT Ferraris, but they look pretty kewl. I remember the first Lamborghini (sp?) I saw in person. I was in Italy at a restaurant on a dirt road (one of those places where the food is soooo good and prices soooo right they don't need to be on a main road!) Anyway, I was inside and heard this "motorcycle" revving up and down. "Wummmm-emmmmm" Real fast like. Just like a cycle does. Loud. We finished eating and walked outside and saw this black "ghini" parked almost in the doorway under the overhang. The tires were almost 2 feet wide on the back! Anyway, I've never forgotten that thing. Nice pics! Milli Gracia (sp?)!

So..Rork, you like Racing Cars eh? LOL...no I hadn't forgotten! Nice shots Rork! 1, 3 & 7 are my favs, love the angle on 7. IMHO, 3 could be cropped a bit to remove the distraction (no need for the laser - lol), like so (or something similar)...hope you don't mind! :-)>

Great 'guess', fire ;) The first two are the 512, which already seemed to be a beast. But then came the one in the trailer, indeed the 712 =) That one's huuuuuuge......really amazing car =) And it was held at the Nurnburgring just a few weeks ago. Thanks for the comments & love the crop, PC! Thanks! :)
