I'd help ya out, but my puters are on a constant rendering cycle hehe, But I think ya got a great idea, Lightning works great over the net as long as ya have a broadband connection, during beta tests we had it running like a top over the net, but it tends to eat up dial up bandwidth so anyone wanting to give it a whirl, be mindful of your puter and net connection:-)
Do atleast one thing a day that scares the hell outta ya!!
Are there many online render farms out there for Bryce? iknow there is a security risk (isn't there always but I'd love to have access to something for say a full screen animation involving., say, volumetrics or some other processor crippling aspect of rendering. Still we can tell the grand kids we did it the hard way!! =o}
Aye, it sounds interesting! But there are a lot of hitches? Like, who gets to render first? (laughs) If it's me, then I'm in... I have several networks to render with, but at the same time, if other people are rendering on mine, what am I gonna render?? And WHEN! (grins) Bryce 5's bottle-neck is your least-powerful piece of hardware/software. Upgrade it.

Hi there people. I'm pretty new to this 3D thing. But right off I have noticed that even a 10 second animation in Bryce 5 can take all night to render. (I usually set my animation to render and then go to bed hoping it'll be done by the time I wake up!) I would like to get people's opinion on setting up a bunch of users with broadband connections to the internet with Bryce Lightning and basically using each others computers to render our animations. What do ya think?-Chris spoonard@hotmail.com
