Back when I posted the Seattle at 524 feet pic, somebody wrote to me and said that they wish they could see more of the area that was out of frame. While cleaning up my HD this afternoon before heading to work, found this one. It's a wider focal length and different composition (shifted to the right from the first photo) taken at the same time as the other one. I think my exposure on this might have been a little long. Lights are brighter than I would have liked and the larger area is somewhat busy for my tastes. Also, the print isn't as sharp as I would have liked. -=>Donald

Does look nice. If I lived in Seattle, I'd like something like this on my wall. [Now, I don't see the Space Needle. And think the observation deck is about 500-600ft...]

Nightime shots are really fun. This one looks very nice. The ones I took with daytime film always turned out too warm. Nice job.

Misha - yup...the Space Needle observation deck is at 524 ft (where I took these photos from). All - Yea, I have to admit that there is just something about nighttime city shots. That and neon...I love well done shots with neon in them. I can't wait to get out this holiday season and try some longish exposures with xmas lights and traffic light trail type stuff. :) -=>Donald

Classic stuff, really awesome ! It deserves a much bigger size (dimension wise I mean) =) It just needs a little bit of light in the sky, like a sunset...but you can't have it all ;) Would love to see more work! @star: looking at the cars, something like 20-30 seconds max @ f/16 ?

This is weird. This is the 2nd time I've responded here and my message didn't show up (replied last night when I got home around 2am). Star - If memory serves me correctly, it was around 20-25 seconds at f/8-f/11. Cyn - Stop picking on me or I'm gonna tell Mom! :) Ducks indeed. :P -=>Donald
