You could type your message in English, then go to AltaVista (url indicated) and convert it into Japanese then copy and paste that into your email. HTH! :) IreneSame here, nu-be. I had five years of Spanish in school (habla espanol?) and one of German. Started teaching myself Japanese about four years ago, but at my age and without constant immersion, it's a very difficult language to learn. Heck, with immersion and a teacher, it's a very difficult language to learn. And I agree with zechs, Babelfish is great at word for word translation, maybe with some idiomatics, but Japanese has such a different grammatical structure than "European" languages, that it is almost useless: Asa shigoto ni chikatetsu de ikimasu. morning work to subway by go = I/he/she/it/we/you/they (context dependent) go to work by train in the morning. And that's a simple example :)
In the other threads no one really took a good whack at it so here goes. This is pretty rough guys, sorry, not a lot of time to clean it up. This is not a literal translation, just the important parts. *** Unfortunately this week's free clothing model brings an end to our standing policy of offering free model. We humbly request you allow us a rest from presenting past and future free models for awhile. (time period unspecified) We will continue to study 3d without thinking of releasing and We will continue technical support for any other creator's artworks in the same way. The Members will be closed down Dec 1st. *** I don't know if it would be cross posting to put it in the other threads, I'm not actually sure what I wrote is actual english, but tell whoever is interested. I hope they can get it back up sometime soon in the future. Ryan
Ryan, that's about as close as anyone's going to get without a idiomatic translation, which none of the translator programs can do. Here's a problem of the corprate world slogan translation errors "We're not sure where you want to go, but we'll make sure you get taken" Japanese translation of MS ad slogan "Where do you want to go today?" Maybe now we know why MS quit using it? :-)
Why shouldn't speech be free? Very little of it is worth anything.

"We're not sure where you want to go, but we'll make sure you get taken" :LMAO: ^_^ Engrish.com has a new pic up this week. Good to see that the Japanese have found the door to happiness. $50 says it leads to Vicky Naked in a Temple. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. If so, please see the recent threads about BAT Labs. This community urgently needs someone who can write to BatLab-san in Japanese with a message of support and goodwill.
