heyas! i have 117 installed, and i went and downloaded THE official full patch the other week. when i did so, it said something like 'if you have any customized folders, you shouldn't use the auto-installer, you should unzip everything by hand.' well, needless to say, i got PLENTY of customized stuff! do i need to worry about that? is it going to overwrite any model obj files i may have or cr2's and stuff? should i get off my butt and do everything myself? :)

I did it by hand. It only took 5 minutes tops. Everything is go for me now. Finally.

I personally, would do the manual install. Tried the auto and it really messed up things. I couldn't export in the *.obj or *.3ds formats. I ended up uninstalling Poser and re-installing from the CD and have yet to install the update. (I did have some customized folders.) deanna
