I like this much better than the other....the composition works better I think. I don't think I've ever seen one of these before....looks so poofy...I want to reach out and touch it.

I am, therefore I create.......

Hi Folks, sorry for late reply been watching Harry Potter, Thanks for commenting on this image, it is a shub or the like called Old mans beard and grows wild in the hedgerows over here, I guess it is a weed. I think it looks great with the sun on it, just glows. Michelle, I couldn't reach far enough with the first one, this one was better for me. Michael, we still got the odd day of sunshine, but mainly rain. Alpha. Very pleased you like it

Like you picture here Patmarti a great subject with its softness and swirling lines. I would be tempted to get in closer if your camera allows you to. And maybe try adding a little bit of flash just to brighten it up. :O)

A really tight crop will make a great abstract with all those swirlies. :-) But the pic is nice as it is. ;-) (*

Mysnapz The camera allows but don't think I'm up to it yet, tried it with this one :(

Thanks, I will work on it

I like the tighter crop Patmarti. I think you could get away with an even tighter crop with this subject but you do need that light just to give it a lift, are you going to re shoot in better light? Shooting into the light might be interesting, getting the morning frost might work well too. You will have to check your exposure but the rim lighting could be very interesting. Think! I must go see if I can find some of this stuff :O)

Mysnapz Very good suggestions but I need to find some more first. this is in a hedge beside a busy road with a very high drop on the other side of the hedge. The trees on the opposite side shade this hedge. Went back this afternoon in the hope the sun might have reached it. nope :-( Here is the last one. I hope I am not posting too many here, if so please put me right, and thank for all comments Pat
