Most models are created in another program unless they are an .obp extension. Since you have P4 and LW7, you can export in .obj format which is pretty much universal now and works very well with Bryce. Anything you make in LW is yours of course. Be careful about Poser. Exporting the Poser models may require some investigation of the EULA.
I usually save mine as object presets (OBP)Once I have finished a model, I group it together ( making sure not to include the camera in the group..LOL) then I click on the triangle next to "create" at the top of the screen, this will open your objects library. Then you click on the triangle next to "installed" at the bottom left which will show a drop down menu: select "user". This will give you your user object library. YOu then click on "ADD". A window will open allowing you to name your new object and write a description if you want to. Then click on the check marks to close each window and your done. To show them in the freebies section or anywhere else you would then export them as obp's from your user objects library. I hope this helps as I am new to Bryce myself and don't even know if I used correct terminology:)But if you can understand what I am sayin gthis will do it for you.
I've had a snif at Lightwave 7, but the fullversion is too expensive for me. I've heard Rhino is a very easy modeller. As said OBP's are brycian others are non-brycian. I use Amapi for my non-bryce models, but if you have lightwave 7, Rhino and truespace there's no need to get Amapi. I personally find Truespace hard to get to grips with without tutorials, but I've seen people make great stuf with it.
