Subject: Is it me or the hair room?

Does the hair room have a pretty steep learning curve or am I just having a bad week? Everything will be going along fine then a hair group will suddenly act in a strange, unheard of manner, such as sticking straight up. I don't think I do anything that would cause this, but I am not sure. I don't want to report this as a bug until I rule out pilot error.

If you're making your hair on a skullcap, make sure it is entirely off the head at all points. Pay particular attention around the ears. Don't know if that'll help ya, but it has helped me in the past.

Yes!!! Thanks, doldridg. My hair was being diverted by a collision with the ears. Thanks!

Can you turn the head collision off? Somtimes you want the hair to hug, (if it's long), and it's hard to avoid touching the head when doing this. Catlin

Yeah, I turned collision off and everything works fine. No more hair sticking up like horns.
