Subject: Looking for Sand Material.

Any sand mataerial available? I understand Guitta has some,but I can't get into his site as I keep getting asked to debug.Also I have the same problem with the cool&groovy site stuff above.Does anyone else have this problem? arrow1

Just hold down the shift key and click the reload button. It should go get the pages correctly then. Don't know where you can find sand material. Should be easy to make.

Oh that's easy click on it what ever you applied it to so the material shows up on the righthand side preview kind of place then right click on that sphere and select save materal browes to a folder and save it. Typing names is good and filling out the info so when you have thousands of textures there not all called material. If you can't figure that way go to I think it's View up at the top there then display material summery then find your material right click on the sphere and pick save material.

The spot is called display not View. I had to wait for a screen refresh before I could read it cause I'm rendering. F6 key also works to bring up the material summery window.

My problem is I have saved the sand material under landscapes in the material folder and it is saved as a vue file.Can I change it or import somewhere so I can save it it in a new folder I want to create? arrow1

You can move it with file explorer too, It's no problem. Everytime you click on a type it looks to see if any have been added or removed and updates the view thumbnail window accordingly.

I think the arrow1 is his name. I tried to go to your site as well yesterday, but when I clicked on the links that were suppose to download the materials on your webpage, I got the page cannot be displayed as well. I tried several. I thought that maybe my zonealarm firewall was causing a problem so I shut off privacy control. But I still got the same error. To clarify, the download page displays all right. It's when you click on one of the icons to download that you get the error. Kevin

Well, I went back and tried it today. I clicked on the link that you posted above. It went to a lycos page that had the link on it, but you couldn't select it. In a moment, it changed to another page that said this site had moved and then it took me to your homepage. After it loaded, I went to downloads and opened the materials. I clicked on the link for the leaves in water. I think it basically did the same thing, but it did take me to a link where I could download the material. I then tried clicking on the link for the sand. It showed me the page with the link that you couldn't select and then it went to a page where it said this site had moved but then it reloaded your homepage. Actually, it loaded your homepage into your homepage, so I had a second set of menus to the right of the original set of menus. And after all this, I didn't get the sand textures. Just thought you might like to know... Kevin
