Hi all I really, really, really want The Iron Giant from the film of the same name done in Poser as I have some great ideas for some pictures. Alas I am not skilled to this and wouldn't where to begin. However, my wallet is skilled and does know where to begin. If anybody wants to tackle this model could they e-mail me with a quote. we'll go from there. Many thanks Jody P.S - Bloody please Poser has a good home after all the worrying.

Del has done a pretty close resemblance already and it is in the Freestuff on this site. Chris

heya; i dunno if it is exactly legal to pay somebody to copy somebody else's copyrighted work. it isn't very ethical, at the least. :) hmmm... maybe we need to contact hollywood about a new market for their spinoff products. besides toys, t-shirts, pencil sharpeners and mugs, they need to put out poser models, too! :)

Do a search for Del and on the second page is a figure called MechAllister. Chris

Could you imagine what people would pay for the actual Star Wars, Star Trek, B5, LIS models made by the actual creators?

I foudn McAllistar, it isn't really quite right. If anybody wants to take up the challenge I'd be amazingly grateful.

hmmm.. on second thought, that IS kinda scary. imagine if we hadda pay royalties and licensing fees every time we made a pic with the stormtrooper in it.... best hide from hollywood! :)

Nevermind...I was at the store and bought the video which just so happened to have a little detailed toy figure of the Iron Giant...so if I make it and you like it and want it, it'll cost you 25 bucks....sound fair? Davo

Working on it now, will probably have it done in a couple of days (wife and six kids tend to slow things down..heh heh), send your e-mail address to davids@esmcivil.com so I can contact you when I'm finished. This is a fun little challenge actually. If I had the time, it may also be a good opportunity to make a tutorial on how to assemble and make a figure in poser. Davo
