Every wonder how MojoWorld, Bryce, Vue, Terragen, etc., work? This book tells you how.

It's got chapters for artists and chapters for hard-core programmers--it's kind of all over the place. :-)

Check out what Pay Hanrahan, Canon USA Professor of Computer Science at Stanford, says in the Foreword:

"The authors are the key inventors of the technology and some of the most creative individuals I know. This book has always been my favorite computer graphics book, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have."

I was stunned when I read that!

Amazon.com has an introductory price of $55.97, a good discount off the list price of $74.95. I get, like, $0.50 for every compy that sells. ;-) "It's a labor of love."

This edition has color throughout, and is up to 687 pages. It's beautiful and fairly compendious.
