No 4 is just fantastic, 3 is moody but just right IMHO

The mushrooms look especially clear. For me the third is a keeper. I realize there is the blue color when the sun is comming up but I think there is too much of it. The CCD sometime tend to do that on my camera in darkness. Haved you tried adjusting the tone in the pic. If so what how did it turn out. Bsteph

Wow! #3 only needs a knight on a horse. Did you post some shrooms similar to #4 before, or should I get out the field guide again?

Alpha ( ) posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 8:15 PM

#3 for me please... Maybe a bit of rotation and crop to level things out.

zhounder ( ) posted Tue, 10 December 2002 at 10:33 PM

why can't I find things like that? I guess getting over the flu and getting out of the house would help. I agree with Alpha, #3 rocks with just a rotation tweak. Magick Michael aka zhounder

Really lovely pinks and blues. :-) I love #3. I agree with the rotation bit, too. :-) (*

bsteph, Photoshop is not my strong point I did auto levels and it washed out the pink and looked nothing like the slide I scanned from (plus its a bit of a style I seeming to devloping in landscape) Misha, dig out that book, first shrooms I have shot I agree with the rotation, might have a go at some point but these are stight scans, no postwork Thanks for your input Azy

I guess #3 is a clear winner with the people here. Gotta love that fog!

shrooms> I just cannot tell from the pictures in my book. I'm sure an expert could name them immediately. Without seeing the stem, and under the cap, I'd be only guessing. Did they smell really bad?

ChuckEvans ( ) posted Wed, 11 December 2002 at 6:52 PM

You think he SNIFFED them?! (pungent grin on face)

It did not distract you from taking really good pictures.
