No, it's just a Victoria 4 character, sorry, I thought I'd mentioned that in the initial post. I WISH I was talented enough for an all new figure! -.- As I said, I've been out of it for a WHILE! 

She requires Victoria 4.2 and her morphs to work properly. I'm looking for people willing to test in DAZ and in Poser.

I'm both glad and saddened that I'm not the only one who doesn't like this set of changes.

Does said head turn back around, from the other direction, pea soup going everywhere, while it makes insulting comments about your mother performing certain acts in hell?

I downloaded DS to test custom content. As for Genesis... yes, I lose out significantly, since I would have to redo custom morphs from scratch due to new object files. I just, again, can't see myself throwing that kind of money at something, even though there's some content I'd like, just to learn how to do everything again with my feet. (I say feet because I'm fairly ambidextrous)

I'm actually really happy with Poser Pro 2010, which I just bought a few months back, after using 6 since it came out. If DAZ finally kills Poser, I'll probably switch, of need for my content, but until that day comes (hopefully they can co-exist for many, MANY years) I'm sticking with Poser. Using DS does get some really nice renders, and I'm happy other folks can use it, but I like my Poser too much, I have my workflow set up exactly how I want, and am unlikely to change anytime soon. At 28, I'm a stubborn old wench.

V4 isn't dead, and as for V5... I had absolutely no interest in her, personally. Genesis is fine, and all, but I don't feel like relearning a program I paid 200+ dollars for in a very similar format that doesn't really provide anything all that NEW, for me. For a new user, I imagine it's wonderful. I've sent a lot of friends interested in what I do to grab DS, since it's a free base program, let them get an idea of how it works. 

But I can't see myself getting Victoria 5 or any of the other Genesis characters/Shapes, etc. It's too much like learning to write or draw with my feet when I have two perfectly good hands to do it with. Sure, I COULD, and probably do it half decently in a few years, but... Why? The sooner DAZ realizes they need to continue appealing to the Poser market, the sooner we'll start seeing cross compatability again.

Hrm. Load as many hi res figures as you can before the program crashes? It certainly makes the computer's heat output higher, so I guess you could use Poser to keep the house warm in the winter... ;)

... I just made my fiancee hold really still for a while. ;) Sadly, I don't think I could make M4 or V4 as pretty as he is. Some of that's just emotion, but some of it's just him being freaking gorgeous. >.>

She was next on my list of faces to be inspired by, but something stopped me, dunno what. I may take a shot at it soon, because she really is beautiful.

Hopefully they stay good! They're working with me on the rental, since the place they wanted me to go was a good 45-60 minute drive. Just looking forward to having a vehicle, even a temporary one, to drive again!

I don't think it's any sort of chargeable accident. The car failed on its own, so it's a mechanical failure, and to top it off, a catastrophic one. Simply put, without help from the insurance company, there's no way I could even afford to get a cheap used car, right now. I've been trying to get myself out of debt for the last six months, so every spare penny has gone into paying on my credit cards.

Just got off the phone with the insurance company. They'll pay up to 600$ for a rental, total, 25$ a day. This day started WAY too early, since I barely slept, but at least stuff is moving finally.

Like I said, I'm thinking something small that I can get around in safely. I always called the van my little tank, and, occasionally, the Invisivan (since folks seemed to not notice it. How do you NOT SEE a big white van coming at you?) which explains several of the minor dents seen on it.

Not worried about what the new vehicle looks like, too much, as long as it doesn't make people run screaming at the sight of it. (It WOULD be nice to have a car I could use on a date without feeling embarrassed...)

Also, Seachnasaigh, thank you guys so much for all that you do. If the fire department hadn't arrived so fast yesterday, I'm pretty sure the van would have exploded, possibly hurting someone else in the process, which would have made a horrible situation a million times worse. :(

I do not want another minivan, that much is for sure. I want a car, or possibly even a little Vespa style scooter or something. Something that gets more than 15-20mpg.  I was doing more damage to the environment than my co-worker's hummer!

And definitely a used car. Frankly, with my luck with vehicles, I don't trust myself with a brand new car!

I wasn't being serious, Winterclaw. ^^ Unfortunately, we got the car third-hand. My cousin bought it used, and when she retired it, she gave it to me and my mother back in 05 or 06. We had comprehensive insurance on it, so that should help, but I honestly don't know how I'm going to replace it. -.-
