Maybe it is due to the older version of Firefox that you got the warnings? I ran a thorough deep scan for both virus's and malware on my system during the night and it came back clean as a whistle. I run Vista - Firefox 3 - and Windows Live One as well as AVG on my system. So at this point I AM sure that I didn't get any bad stuff.Â

I never experienced any of that. Im curious - are the people that are having this happen using I.E.? I use Firefox and never got any of the problems or alerts that others were reporting. Also the ones that actually got infected, what operating systems? (XP or Vista?)

I DID see it - unfortunately not last night but I caught the repeat of it this evening and yes......I first looked that the pictures they were showing her and thinking to myself that there was something very familiar - then I figured it out! Pretty darned cool!

Wow....I like this. She's very interesting. I like the mix of Aiko and The Girl - and in a way she kinda sorta reminds me of LaRoo but much better. Personally I never much cared for The Girl's Body & I totally LOVE Aiko's body so this is a perfect mix! Nice job!

I had so few problems with Poser 5 and absolutely none at all with Poser 6.
Perhaps the list of problems by Jackson (above) could be lack of memory?
Im never sure why people are so reluctant to look forward to newer versions of programs and already have their minds made up before it even happens that its bound to be a ball of problems. I have no clue whether Poser 7 is even in the works, or when it will come out but I'll be right there in line to buy my version no matter what.
I guess some people (well lets face it; a LOT of people) just cant deal with change. It's easier to stay in their safe zone than to be adventurous and challenged by "new" things. I might add here that Im still using my old Dell that I got 6 years ago and has only 512 MB Memory - and I run Poser and render while I have other programs, browsers etc. running. Never experience the problems listed by Jackson.

Actually there is oil to refine - plenty of them to pick up the slack in the Texas area as well as others. With today's lifting of the regulations today on the process required (currently) to refine the oil - that should speed up the production a lot. Its not like ALL our oil is refined in LA - only a part of it. I believe I heard 25% of the oil is refined there. I actually predict that gasoline will go up slightly over the next day or so but then I look to see it level off with these new temporary requirements lifted to fill in the gap. Now what would NOT surprise me is in the near future, having gasoline rationing like took place back in Carter's administration! I also feel that the strategic oil reserves should have been opened up before the storm, when we were already having consistently increasing prices. I feel that we are being legally price gouged! I dont think its time to panic yet though...but pulling out the bicycles and walking more - and taking public transporation was already a good idea long before now. Maybe we would not have contributed so much to global warming if we had & would not be in this situation now. Things as simple as fueling your vehicles at night to prevent from dirtying up the air is observed how often? I see folks lined up at the pumps whenever they darn well feel like it without any consideration at all - as long as its convenient for them that's all they care about! :(

Humm.....and then there are those that don't believe that global warming even exists - mighty strange we have seen a big increase in these storms each year and its getting worse and worse. Its a well known fact that the warmer the water temperature is, the more these storms are fueled. sigh Im terribly upset to hear that you may have lost everything Deb. I know lots of people are in the same situation, but that doesnt make it any easier to accept. It must be a very humbling situation. I know we have had lots of loss in our area due to some of the famous F5 tornado's but nothing in comparison to the damage Im seeing on the news channels. My heart goes out to every person down there (except those looters) I could understand them taking necessity's like food and water, but TV sets, Microwaves, Shoes, Clothes, Toys, etc. that they cant even USE or do anything WITH right now? Its pretty hard to use a TV without electricity, so what do they think they're gonna do with all this stuff; pack it all on their back while they evacuate out of the city for heavens sake? To me that is the lowest of low, and for those that are doing this looting for any other reason than basic essentials, I have no sympathy whatsoever for them. That part of 'human nature' (if you can call it human instead of animal) is repulsive to me.

I'll give it a chance - I cant wait to get it in fact...and despite all the multiples of complaints that people had about Poser 5 ~ I for one didnt find it to be a big problem for me. I still prefer it over Poser 4 ~ and continue to use it and recommend it. Once they got all those patches for it...mine works smooth as cream. I just figured that they might have problems like mentioned above worked out before the release. I thrilled to get it and am watching for the UPS man to arrive with mine! :)

With all the testing that has taken place...and all the raving reviews I read in the recent RDNA newsletter one would THINK that this problem would have been detected already. I also hope when my BOXED version arrives it is complete - fixed - no patches to install first rattle out of the box. I had hoped it would not be a repeat of Poser 5
