My pleasure.
There was also a thread on the subject recently in the e-on owners' forum, in which 'Steve' from e-on informed us that the 64bit Mac version was advancing well, but that there remained some elements to refine..........I feel that we may not be too far away from a public beta version...!

I cannot tell you how to do it, because I do not know...............but there are plenty of examples in the gallery of the effect I believe you are after. It would not appear to me to be a limitation of Vue, but a need to find out how...........hopefully someone much more skilled than me can help!

Now just trying to find the best way to avoid excessive change of material size from the point of the cone to the bottom edge (without overly obvious repetition/tiling).................experimenting with 'spherical', 'toiroidal', 'cylindrical', etc., mapping.
Any advice gratefully received!
P.S. if only PixPlant & GeoControl were written for the Mac I'd grab them as soon as possible!
